Here’s what you’ll need:
- Twine, string, yarn, or ribbon
- A roll of washi tape
- Scissors
Here’s how to make it!
- Cut a piece of string the length you’d like for your garland to be.
- Tear a length of tape off of the roll and fold it over the middle part pf the string, taking care to line it up carefully.
- Repeat for as many tape “flags” as you want, starting with the middle one and working your way outward.
- Be sure each flag has the same amount of space in between each one.
- Cut the bottom of each flag straight across, making sure they are all the same height.
- If you prefer, you can get a little fancier and also cut a v-shaped notch at the bottom of each one.
- Tie or hang anywhere you like.
Happy crafting!
