Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Twine, string, yarn, or ribbon
  • A roll of washi tape
  • Scissors

Here’s how to make it!

  • Cut a piece of string the length you’d like for your garland to be.
  • Tear a length of tape off of the roll and fold it over the middle part pf the string, taking care to line it up carefully.
  • Repeat for as many tape “flags” as you want, starting with the middle one and working your way outward.
  • Be sure each flag has the same amount of space in between each one.
  • Cut the bottom of each flag straight across, making sure they are all the same height.
  • If you prefer, you can get a little fancier and also cut a v-shaped notch at the bottom of each one.
  • Tie or hang anywhere you like.

Happy crafting!
