Here’s what you’ll need:
- For
each egg, several yards of #6/super bulky yarn. For extra squish, I
used a chenille style yarn in that weight. Yarn shown in the eggs in
the pictures is Honey Bunny by Hobbii in Candy Floss and Lilac colorways. - US 10 6.0 mm straight knitting needles
- Ribbon (I used narrow matching satin ribbon)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Sizing:
- 3.5 inches tall
- 2.5 inches wide
- 6.5 inch circumference
Here’s how to make it!

- Cast on 3 stitches.
- Row 1: Knit all stitches.
- Row 2: Purl all stitches.
- Row 3: KFB (knit into the front and back of the stitch) in each stitch across.

- Bind off all stitches, leaving a tail for seaming.
- Seam up the hat using the whip stitch, then weave in any ends that remain.
- Let’s make some ears next (you’ll make two),
